MENTAL HEALTH DISORDERS
In December 2022, medical staff were added to the agency creating a new line of service. This addition allows for the medical treatment of our adults and children. We continue to coordinate with community partners for referrals for services, specifically targeting the Juvenile Justice Center and OhioRise, both programs serving at-risk youth. We have also added multiple therapists to ensure capacity for individual therapy and group therapy. With the licensing of our current medical staff we also have the opportunity to provide primary care services to our clients. Within the next year, medical services will also be available for clients in our Cleveland location.
SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS
In September 2022, intensive outpatient services were added as a new line of service. We have also obtained our CLIA certification through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services which allows us to now perform and bill for urinalysis. As the program continues to grow there is the potential to also add a partial hospitalization level of care in addition to our current outpatient services. We are also preparing to open a Medical Assisted Treatment Program in collaboration with our medical department. We are also evaluating the community need for adolescent substance use.
DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
Benchmark Integrated Health provides basic living skills under the guidance of Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. Benchmark provides supportive services that focus on ensuring health and safety of individuals, supporting access to community participation, and increasing opportunities for meaningful employment within the state of Ohio. This creates an agency unlike any other in the area that provides services for those with developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use concerns as many individuals have more than one condition that we could be treating. This also allows us to offer transportation as a billable service further broadening revenue opportunities.
